We are delighted to announce that Porsche Centre Kendal will be relocating to a brand new, larger, state-of-the-art facility in summer 2021. Construction at the new site began on 8 June 2020.
After 60 wonderful years proudly representing Porsche at our current location, we need more space to properly represent the full range of cars and services available from Porsche.
Our new Centre will be conveniently located just south of Kendal, 500m from Junction 35 of the M6 near Carnforth.
To reflect this big change, we will be adopting a new name: Porsche Centre South Lakes.
Our new Centre will more than double our capacity to 16 cars and will have excellent facilities including an onsite Café Bar, fully-equipped specification lounge, children’s area and a dedicated handover bay.
We will continue to provide the excellent Porsche services our customers expect, thanks to new and improved expanded workshop facilities, including a Direct Dialogue Bay where you can assess your car with one of our Porsche-trained Technicians.
Our new Centre will also be home to ultra-high-power DC chargers which can charge a Taycan at 270 kW, adding up to 62 miles of range, in under 6 minutes.
Porsche Centre South Lakes will bring the future of Porsche to the North-West. We look forward to keeping you updated with our progress at the new site.

. From 01 January 2019, all fuel consumption figures are shown as determined in accordance with WLTP. CO₂ figures will be shown as NEDC-equivalent values, as CO₂ based taxation will continue to be based on an NEDC value (derived from WLTP) until 06 April 2020. For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
